this project was inspired by a set i recently made, but wasn't too happy with. there was something missing: patterns and motifs. i am adding that through patchwork and appliqués for which i am using fabric scraps. the fabrics are mainly lightweight cottons because it gives the garment breathability. the motifs share a sea theme since i adore it but don't live by it. it's my way of bringing a little of that feeling to me.
